Some medicines are different than the ones you pick up at your regular pharmacy. What makes these medicines special? They may need to be kept cool, handled carefully, and delivered fast to work properly.

 

That’s why we have a network specialty pharmacy to help with these important medications. These specialty drugs may need to be injected, put directly into your bloodstream, or taken by mouth.

 

Here’s how we help you:

 

  • Secure no-cost delivery straight to you, usually within 48 hours after we confirm your order.
  • Delivery to your home, provider’s office, or other location.
  • Package tracking so you always know where your medicine is and when it will arrive.
  • Training on how to give yourself injections.
  • Flexible payment options to make paying for your medicine easier
  • No cost supplies included with your medicine like needles, syringes, alcohol swabs, bandages, and special containers for used needles.

It’s easy to get your specialty medicine. Your provider can send us your prescriptions in three ways:

Understanding your drug coverage

To make sure your specialty medicines are covered by your plan:

 

  • Use a network pharmacy.
  • Some medicines are covered under your medical plan, not your pharmacy plan. You may need to pay a copay or coinsurance for those.
  • Some medicines require precertification. This means your provider needs to explain why you need them, and we must approve them first.
