As a member of Aetna Student Health, you also get coverage from On Call International when you travel. That includes medical assistance and much more. All around the world, around the clock. Coverage applies to selected schools.*

Using your plan when traveling abroad

 

When you’re outside the U.S., your Aetna Student Health travel assistance plan with On Call International is designed to support you wherever you go. Here’s how to use your benefits overseas.

 

Before departure

  • Print and carry your On Call International ID card.
  • Review your Certificate of Coverage for your school.
  • Save On Call International’s contact information for emergencies and assistance.

Accessing services overseas

  • In an emergency or if you need help, contact On Call International using the collect number on your ID card.
  • Be ready to share your school name, policy details, and your location.
  • On Call International can assist with medical emergencies and referrals, emergency evacuation and travel arrangements, translation and legal support, and replacement of lost travel documents.

Helpful tips

  • Know the nearest hospital, embassy, and consult locations at your destination.
  • Keep your ID card and emergency contact info with you at all times.
  • For non-emergency questions or travel planning, On Call International offers pre-trip advice and local information.

  • Medicine replacement assistance
  • Unlimited emergency medical evacuation
  • Unlimited medically necessary return home
